
NCATA Announces Academic Team, Honor Roll

Sophomore Kam Kitchens was named to the 2021 All-Academic Team, while 25 others were on the honor roll
WACO, Texas –The National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) announced its 2021 All-Academic Team and Academic Honor Roll with Baylor's Kam Kitchens being named All-Academic with her 4.0 GPA in neuroscience.
Members of the NCATA All-Academic Team must have a 3.30 grade-point average and provide significant contributions to the team's success during 2021 regular season competition.
Eight different programs were represented on the 2021 NCATA All-Academic Team, including Kitchens. In addition, the NCATA also announced its 2021 Academic Honor Roll, which includes all Acrobatics & Tumbling student-athletes with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher.
In all, 432 Acrobatics & Tumbling student-athletes were named to the NCATA Academic Honor Roll.
The No. 2-ranked Bears will begin the semifinals of the 2021 NCATA National Championships against No. 3 Oregon on Thursday, April 22 at 7 p.m. CT inside the Ferrell Center.
