10th annual bowl game will be held in January 2022
WACO, Texas – Baylor football seniors Terrel Bernard, Trestan Ebner, Connor Galvin, Xavier Newman-Johnson, Jalen Pitre, R.J. Sneed, Tyquan Thornton and JT Woods have been named to the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl's Big Board, as announced Friday by the organization.
Ebner and Newman-Johnson, earning their second-career selections to the all-star game's big board, joined former Bears William Bradley-King, Charlie Brewer and John Lovett on last year's list. BU's eight selections for the 2022 game come two weeks after six Bears were named to the Reese's Senior Bowl Watchlist.
Recently, Baylor has sent Chris Miller (2020) and Jalan McClendon (2019) to participate in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
This January, the NFL Players Association will produce the 10th annual NFLPA Collegiate Bowl game at the historic Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif. Since 2011, the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl has provided senior NFL prospects with an exceptional platform to showcase their talents to all 32 NFL teams, as well as a one-of-a-kind experience that educates participants about the business of football.
In the past two years alone, 87 NFLPA Bowl participants have been invited to the NFL Combine and 58 were drafted by NFL clubs.
