T&F Vault Squad Compete at Jarvis Scott Open

WACO, Texas – Baylor track & field pole vaulters made the trip to Lubbock, Texas, this weekend to compete in the Jarvis Scott Open, hosted by Texas Tech. It was the last competition for the Bears before the Big 12 Championships in Ames, Iowa, next weekend.
Tuesdi Tidwell ended her night with a silver medal after passing 13-9 ¾. Alex Kubicek finished in the fifth-place spot after her 12-4 cross.
In the men's competition, Ben Conacher recorded his first clearance of the 2022 indoor season with a 16-6 vault. Freshman Nate Butler finished with a no-height.
The Bears compete in the Big 12 Championships, hosted by Iowa State, next Friday and Saturday, Feb. 25-26, in Ames, Iowa.
