WT's Harvison Earned Preseason ITA Ranking

WACO, Texas – Baylor women's tennis senior standout Isabella Harvison has been ranked No. 72 in the preseason by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, it was announced.
A native of Cardiff by the Sea, Calif., Harvison enters her second fall season as a ranked singles player, after earning a No. 48 ranking a year ago.
She is coming off a spring season that saw her earn eight wins on court 1, including a 6-3, 6-2 win over the nation's No. 8 player, Texas A&M's Carson Branstine. Harvison was tabbed Big 12 Player of the Week after springing a win over Texas Tech's Margarita Skriabina, the nation's No. 20 singles player.
Harvison was tabbed second-team Academic All-Big 12 and was named an ITA Scholar-Athlete in 202.
She opened her career in 2019-20 at Alabama, where in the fall of 2020 she earned a 16-7 mark in singles and a 14-4 record in doubles.
Baylor will open its 2022 fall schedule on Sept. 19 in Lubbock, Texas at the $15K Lubbock, before traveling to the ITA Regionals in Fort Worth on Sept. 22. The Bears will host the H-E-B Invite Oct. 7-9 at the Hurd Tennis Center.
