FORT WORTH, Texas – Baylor women's tennis had four individuals compete for the third time this fall, as
Isabella Harvison,
Daniella Dimitrov,
Zuzanna Frankowska and
Lauren Littell battled at the TCU Invitational this weekend.
The duo of Frankowska and Littell opened the tournament with a come-from-behind win, topping Illinois' Megan Heuser and Rosie Seccia, 8-7(6). Frankowska earned her first career win as a Bear, outlasting the Illini's Alice Xu, 2-6, 6-4, 10-4, while Harvison recorded a 6-2, 6-2 straight-set win over Kasia Treiber.
On Saturday, the Bears picked up a trio of singles victories against Kansas, as Frankowska went 6-0, 6-3 over Jocelyn Massey , and Harvison and Littell came out on top in their third-set tiebreakers.
Littell's second singles win of the weekend highlighted the final day of competition, as the sophomore bested Kansas State's Jillian Harkin, 6-4, 7-6(4).
Baylor returns to action next weekend when it travels to compete in the Texas A&M Fall Invitational.
