Hodge leads BU men for final time
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Baylor cross country closed the season on Friday morning at Agri Park in the NCAA South Central Regional Championship meet. The Bears were led by Jackie Addy in the women's 6,000 meters for the first time this season and Ryan Hodge in the men's 10,000 meters in his final race as a Baylor Bear.
The Bears wrap up the 2023 season that saw the first meet win for the green and gold in five seasons and the highest finish from any Baylor individual (Hayden Gold at the UIW Twilight) in six years.

The women were led for the first time by senior Addy, a transfer from Florida who made the move to Texas before the 2022 season. Her time of 22:35.4 landed her 83rd overall before Hayden Gold crossed 97th in 22:50.1. Freshman Rosanna Pugh was the final Bear on Friday, and she took 104th in 22:55.6.
There was no team score for the Baylor women after only racing three student-athletes.
