Kubacha Picks Up Three Singles Wins at Big 12 Fall Invite

The freshman is the second Bear in three seasons to make it to the finals
WACO, Texas – Baylor women's tennis completed its fall season hosting the Big 12 Fall Invitational at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center and Hurd Tennis Center this weekend.
Zuzanna Kubacha, Zuzanna Frankowska, Danielle Tuhten and Isabella Harvison all competed for the Bears. Kubacha became the second Bear in three seasons to advance to the championship round of the main draw before falling 6-1, 6-2, to UCF's Noel Saidenova.
On opening day, Kubacha, Tuhten and Harvison all picked up straight-set wins. Two more wins on Friday and Saturday pushed Kubacha into Sunday's final match.
In doubles action, a 6-1 victory by Frankowska and Kubacha, and a 6-0 win by Harvison and Tuhten on Friday advanced both tandems to Saturday before each pair fell 6-4 in the first round.
