BU is one of 10 top-25 teams in the field at Twin Dolphin Club
LOS CABOS, Mexico – Baylor men's golf will make its 10th appearance in the Cabo Collegiate when they open play at Twin Dolphin Club on Sunday morning.
Baylor is one of 10 ranked teams in a field that includes four of the top five in the country. Head coach Mike McGraw knows just how tough it will be but is looking forward to the trip south of the border.
"Our players always look forward to this trip because it is some of the best competition we will see all year long," McGraw said. "Then you add, on top of that, the great weather and a terrific golf course. We are excited about returning to Cabo."
Johnny Keefer will take his usual spot at No. 1 for the Bears. The last time Keefer was in Cabo, he tied the school record with a 63 in the final round of the event in 2022.
Drew Wrightson will play at No. 2 after his best performance as a Bear, a tie for fifth at the Prestige in Palm Springs. Wrightson shot two rounds in the 60s on a course where the stroke average never dropped below 73.4.
Tyler Isenhart will take the No. 3 spot in Los Cabos. The senior leads the team in total pars this season and is second to Luke Dossey in par-or-better percentage.
Trey Bosco makes his second appearance at the Cabo Collegiate, playing from the No. 4 spot. The junior finished tied for 48th last year, but already has three-top fives to his credit this season and leads the team in total birdies with 65.
Luke Dossey will make his first start of the spring in the lineup at No. 5 this week. The senior leads the team in par-3 and par-4 scoring this season. Dossey tied for 10th in his last start at the Prestige Individual Invitational.
