ORLANDO – Baylor doubles duo of Tadeas Paroulek and Zsombor Velcz start NCAA Doubles Championship play on Tuesday at the USTA National Campus. The pair faces Ohio State's Andrew Lutshaunig and James Trotter for the second time this year in the round of 32.

When the then-No. 10 Bears faced the then-No. 1 Buckeyes, Lutschaunig and Trotter had a 4-2 advantage over Paroulek and Velcz, but the match went unfinished.

It is the sixth-straight year (excluding the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign) that a BU doubles duo qualified to the NCAA Doubles Championship.

Ninth-ranked Constantin Frantzen and Sven Lah made a run in 2021, making an appearance in the semifinal match before falling to No. 4 Pat Harper and Adam Walton from Tennessee. In 2022, No. 3 Finn Bass and Lah advanced to the quarterfinal round.

Start times for the tournament have not yet been announced, but a bracket, live stats and a link to the Cracked Racquets YouTube stream is available at NCAA.com.

The tournament continues with each round scheduled to begin on the following day. An NCAA Doubles Champion pair will be crowned May 27th.
