Annual Meet the Bears Event Set for Aug. 26

WACO, Texas – The excitement of the new 2023-24 Baylor athletics season is here, and fans can get an early glimpse into the new rosters as Baylor hosts its annual Meet the Bears event Saturday Aug. 26 at McLane Stadium from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Here are the full details for Meet the Bears:

Gate C will open at 2:00 p.m. to the public, and parking is free at McLane Stadium.
Baylor's clear bag policy will be in effect for Meet the Bears.
An exclusive Meet the Bears poster will be provided for the event.
Student-athletes will also be able to sign one memorabilia item per person in addition to the Meet the Bears poster.
The Bears will have 12 programs represented for autographs throughout the concourse, including a special appearance by Bruiser and Marigold, as well as Baylor Football Head Coach Dave Aranda.

There will also be multiple booths and fanfare set up throughout the concourse:

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase gear from the Baylor Bookstore and licensed apparel partners, including the brand-new This Is Bear Country special collection.
A Kids Zone will be set up on the east side of the concourse and will include inflatables, face painting, and special activities.
Baylor Bold Rewards and Cub Club will be represented with registration, giveaways, and opportunities to engage this athletic season.
- Fans who register in-person at Meet the Bears for Cub Club will receive an exclusive lunch box while supplies last.
An exclusive one-day ticket deal will be available at the ticket office table. Fans will have an opportunity to purchase bench seating for all football home games (except Texas game) for $10 off.
Even though they are on the road competing, Baylor Volleyball and Soccer will still be well represented with tables of their own:
- Free tickets for upcoming home openers will be available while supplies last.
- Autographed posters from both teams will also be available while supplies last.

The first home event of the 2023-24 athletic season will be held on Aug. 31 when Baylor soccer opens its home slate, hosting Louisiana Tech at Betty Lou Mays Soccer Field.
