WACO, Texas -- Due to the threat of inclement weather for the Central Texas area, Baylor football's Green & Gold Game on Saturday at McLane Stadium has been canceled.
Baylor will now hold its final spring practice of the season on Saturday at the Allison Indoor Practice Facility. The event will be closed to the general public due to limited space available and on-going construction for the Fudge Football Development Center and the Allison Facility.
The Bears opened their spring practice season on March 19 and will conclude the 15-practice schedule on Saturday.
Events as part of the Green & Gold Weekend still on tap include a baseball series with Kansas featuring the red-hot Bears, who have won nine of their last 10 games, on Friday (6:30 p.m.), Saturday (2 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m.). Softball hosts UCF for a three-game set on Friday (6:30 p.m.), Saturday (2 p.m.) and Sunday (12 p.m.), and the annual Michael Johnson Invitational concludes the home regular-season track & field schedule for the Bears on Friday and Saturday.
