Bears to compete across five sports
WACO, Texas – Baylor Athletics is excited to cheer on eight current and former student-athletes in the 2024 Olympic Games.
The Bears will compete in five sports in Paris, France, starting July 25 with the Opening Ceremonies.

Baylor is well represented in the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad with current students Nathaniel Ezekiel and Chinecherem Prosper "Zaza" Nnamdi, both in track and field for Nigeria, Michael Ford coaching the men's sprints and hurdles for the USA, Brittney Griner in basketball for the USA and Kristy Wallace in the same sport but for Australia, Nuni Omot for men's basketball for South Sudan, John Peers in men's tennis doubles for Australia, and Avery Skinner in women's volleyball for the USA.
