On momentum for the season…
"You know winning leads to confidence, and when you can win a lot that helps. So this is a good start, but there is a lot of things we have to improve on. I just told the team, 'Let's not be satisfied. We have to do simple better, we have to get back to the basics and just work our fundamentals.' That's what leads to winning, so that's what we're going to get back to doing on Tuesday."

On freshman excelling in the first set…
"Well that's just a testament to their focus and their professionalism. They were really ready to play. You know, your first college duel match is not always easy, there's a lot of energy and a lot of excitement and nerves. So they handled that very well. I am really proud of them."

WHAT'S NEXT
The Bears travel to Austin, Texas to take on BYU in the first round of ITA Kickoff Weekend at the Texas Tennis Center.
