UofA took a 10-point lead with 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter and after a UC TD drive, used a five-minute drive and a 51-yard field goal that put the Cats up six with just over 90 seconds left. The Wildcats forced a three-and-out, fueled by a first-down offensive pass interference call, on the ensuing UC drive.
