Letterwinner Shoutout- Jonathan Weeks
11/27/2020 12:00:00 AM | "B" Association
This "week's" Letterwinners Shoutout goes to former Baylor deep snapper and current NFL player, Jonathan Weeks (FB '04-'07) who now holds the all-time record for most games played (170) in Houston Texans history.
Weeks came to Baylor as a walk-on and earned a scholarship with the Bears after his freshman season. His dedication to the game was rewarded, once again, when his teammates voted him as a team captain his senior season.
Weeks has been a key player for the Texans since being called in for a tryout in 2010, and hasn't missed a game in his 11 seasons with Houston.
With his appearance in last Sunday's game against the New England Patriots, the pro-bowl long snapper passed Andre Johnson to set the new Texans franchise record.
Sic 'em Jon!
