STILLWATER, Okla. – Baylor Softball dropped its series finale against No. 13 Oklahoma State, 2-1, in nine innings Sunday afternoon at Cowgirl Stadium.

Shaylon Govan was the lone Bear to reach base I the top of the first when she walked with two outs before the Baylor defense took care of the bottom half of the inning keeping it scoreless.
After Brooklyn Carter drew a walk and stole second in the second inning, a two-out error had a Cowgirl standing on first in the bottom half of the inning, but the Bears stifled the threat.
In the bottom of the third, Oklahoma State took the lead when another Baylor error allowed an unearned run to come home to put the Cowgirls on top 1-0.
Baylor's Averie Waddell teamed up with Amber Toven in the bottom of the fourth to throw out the runner trying to steal second before Walker struck out the last batter of the inning to keep it a 1-0 game.
Karynton Dawson doubled to left field to lead off the top of the fifth inning before Carter caused chaos to bring home the tying run. Sitting Oklahoma State down in order in the sixth, Dawson reached on an error for the Bears in the seventh before Walker and the Baylor defense shut the Cowgirls down in the bottom half of the inning to force extras.
Baylor jumped out to a hot start in the top of the eighth when Presleigh Pilon and Toven recorded back-to-back one-out singles but a line out into a double play ended the Bears' threat.
Baylor kept the Oklahoma State offense at bay until the bottom of the ninth when a two-out solo shot over the wall in centerfield gave the Cowgirls the 2-1 walk off win.
