After allowing a leadoff single, starting pitcher Lillie Walker struck out the side, two swinging and one looking to start the game.

In the bottom half of the inning, the Bears got on the board after a double from Turiya Coleman and a fly out an error had her sliding into home safe.

Baylor tacked on two runs in each of the following three innings, starting with two runs in the second off of a single from Amber Toven and a double from Shannon Vivoda

Abi Flores hit a two-run bomb in the bottom of the third, her third long ball of the season, to put the Bears up 5-0.

A hit by pitch, a single and a walk loaded the bases before Shaylon Govan recorded a two-rbi sacrifice fly in the fourth to make it a 7-0 ballgame.

Holding the Wildcats scoreless through five a bases loaded jam in the fifth, Baylor was set up to try and put things away in run-rule fashion as they loaded the bases in the bottom half of the inning.
