IRVING, Texas – Baylor's Na Dong was named to the All-Tournament Team after her efforts at the Big 12 Tennis Championships at the Hurd Tennis Center last week.
 
Dong had a strong showing in her first conference championship at the No. 4 singles spot, earning a pair of straight-set wins over Arizona's Danielle Tuhten and Texas Tech's Andreea Lila in Baylor's quarter- and semifinal appearances.
 
Assisting the Bears to a 4-3 victory against the Wildcats, Dong put together a 6-4, 6-2 result over Tuhten before a dominating 6-1, 6-0 decision against Lila in BU's semifinal loss to Texas Tech.
 
The honor is the first for a Bear since Alicia Herrero Linana earned the title in 2021, the last time the conference championship was held in Waco.
 
Baylor awaits its fate, which will be announced in the 2025 NCAA Tennis Selection Show next Monday, beginning at 4 p.m. CT.
