Bears prepare to host Ducks and fill the Ferrell
WACO, Texas – The top-ranked Baylor acrobatics & tumbling team is ready to take on No. 2 Oregon at the Ferrell Center on Saturday night. Baylor calls on fans to fill the Ferrell to break the attendance record.
The meet will start at 5 p.m. CT at the Ferrell Center, with tickets available here. The Ducks have held the number 2 spot in the rankings from the NCATA going into the week, while Baylor retained its top spot.
Coming into Saturday's meet, the Bears (8-0) face the Ducks (5-1). BU holds a 25-13 record over the Ducks, the team we've competed with more than any other.
BU is coming off a home win over No. 10 St. Leo, outscoring the Lions by 27.51 points to take the win.
On Wednesday, Leavy McDonald brought home another NCATA weekly award, Freshman of the Week, her sixth this season. Payton Washington brought home Athlete of the Week for the fifth time.
The meet with the Ducks will be streamed on ESPN+, with Kurtis Quillin and Ashley Echelberger on the call.
