BU qualifies in the 110mH, 400mH, 200m and 4x400 relay
COLLEGE STATION, Texas โ On the final day of competition for the men at the NCAA West Regionals, Baylor track & field found an enormous amount of success, qualifying in four out of five events entered in.

The Bears will send Demario Prince in the 110 meter hurdles, Nathaniel Ezekiel in the 400 meter hurdles, De'montray Callis in the 200 meters and the 4x400 relay team of Tyler Honeyman, Abbas Ali, Aren Spencer and Ezekiel to Eugene to compete in the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Prince led the day off in the 110mH. Prince, who currently ranks No. 5 in the NCAA, punched his ticket with a 13.39 (+1.1 m/s) mark. With this being Prince's first outdoor season, he qualifies to Nationals with his ninth overall finish and a Big Q.

Ezekiel continues to amaze as he won his heat in the 400mH, cruising to a 49.03 to return to the big stage for the fourth time in his career.

Callis held nothing back in the 200m, putting up a season-best time of 20.32, a wind-legal PR, to punch his ticket with a second place finish.

Rounding out the day was the 4x400 relay. The squad raced for a season-best mark of 3:05.33 to finish third in Heat Two, earning a Big Q. The team was heavily carried by Ezekiel's final leg, who put up an outstanding and impressive 43.70 split.

The 4x100 team of Austen Diggs, Laurenz Colbert, Ricquan Graham and Callis kickstarted the day with the first event on the schedule. The relay team put up a season-best time of 39.62 to round their season and finish just below the cutline in 15th.

WHAT'S NEXT
The women's final events will take place on Saturday, May 31, to conclude the West Prelims. The triple jump will begin at 2:30 pm CT and the running events will begin at 5 pm CT with the 4x100 relay.
