Baylor Athletics Reveals First Drone Show for Aug. 29

WACO, Texas – For the first time in conjunction with a Baylor Athletics event, the athletics department will host a drone show presented by TFNB Your Bank for Life during halftime of the Baylor football vs. Auburn game on Friday, Aug. 29 at McLane Stadium.
The 10-minute, 400-drone show will begin near the conclusion of the Golden Wave Marching Band halftime show. The drone show will be put on by Sky Elements, the same company used to illuminate Baylor University's Howdy at the Hurd and Christmas on Fifth events in 2023.
"We're always looking for new ways to elevate the fan experience, and this drone show is exactly that and one we're thrilled to share," Senior Associate AD for Brand Engagement Justin Hoff said. "There's no better stage than our season opener to deliver a magical night on the Banks of the Brazos."
Fans can get the best view of the drone show inside McLane Stadium with a game ticket.
Baylor football season and single-game tickets, mini plans and mobile passes are all available to experience the halftime spectacle. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the ticket office, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 254-710-1000.
The Bears' season opener against Auburn will begin at 7 p.m. and also air live on FOX.
