Bears to host five home meets at Willis Equestrian Center
WACO, Texas – Baylor equestrian unveiled its 2025-26 schedule, announced by head coach Casie Maxwell on Tuesday.
The Bears will host five home meets this season in addition to the annual Green and Gold Scrimmage, which kicks off the home schedule on Sept. 19 at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.
The first full week of October takes the Bears on a three-meet road swing at Georgia on Oct. 3, Auburn on Oct. 4, and TCU on Oct. 9.
BU has a Halloween showdown slated for Willis on Oct. 31 against Big 12 foe Fresno State, after the Bears defended home turf against the Bulldogs with a 12-8 win a season ago.
The final road meet of the fall takes Baylor to the site of the 2026 Big 12 Championship, Pedigo-Hull Equestrian Center, in Stillwater, Okla., for a battle with Oklahoma State on Nov. 7. A week later, BU hosts SMU at Willis on Nov. 14 in a fall-semester finale.
After opening the season with three-straight road meets, Baylor begins the spring with three-straight meets at Willis, beginning with South Carolina on Jan. 29. Oklahoma State will make its return trip to Waco on Feb. 6, followed by a tangle with TCU on Feb. 21 in the home finale.
The weekend of March 6-7 has the Bears out in the Golden State for a neutral-site meeting with UT-Martin on the sixth, followed by a Big 12 battle with Fresno State. Both meets will be held at the Student Horse Center in Fresno, Calif.
The Bears return to Stillwater, Okla., for the Big 12 Championship March 27-28, the site of Baylor's 2019 Big 12 Championship.
The NCEA Championship runs April 16-18 at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Fla.
