Bears host a pair of home tournaments in 2025
WACO, Texas – Baylor women's tennis head coach Joey Scrivano announced the 2025 fall schedule Thursday morning, a campaign that features two home tournaments in September and November.
The seven-tournament slate opens in Cary, N.C., on Sept. 20 as the Bears compete in the ITA All-American Championship. The eight-day event includes pre-qualifying, qualifying and main draws that will decide the first members of the NCAA Championship field, with the top 10 singles players and top four doubles pairings earning spots in the Singles and Doubles Championship in Florida.
The fall home opener is scheduled for Sept. 25-28, when BU hosts the Big 12 Individual tournament, welcoming players from across the conference to the Hurd Tennis Center.
A trio of championship events follow: the ITA Texas Regional Championship at TCU on Oct. 9-14, the ITA Conference Masters Championship at the University of San Diego on Nov. 6-9 and the ITA Central Sectional Championship at Texas A&M, also on Nov. 6-9. Each event will add new members to the NCAA Championship field and can be tracked on the ITA website.
Players not qualifying for the Conference and Sectional Championships will compete at home in the H-E-B Invitational at the Hurd Tennis Center on Nov. 7-9.
The fall season concludes with the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championship, set for Nov. 18-23 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
