
WT Collects Weekend’s Second Win in Boston

BOSTON – Baylor women's tennis earned a dominant 4-0 sweep over Harvard on Sunday at the Crimson's Murr Tennis Center.
Baylor (4-3) looked sharp from start to finish, battling to secure the doubles point before cruising through singles play to shut out the Ivy League opponent (4-5).
THE RUNDOWN
In doubles, Zuzanna Kubacha and Neda Rahimkhani dropped the opening match on Court One, 6-2. Kennedy Gibbs and Gabriella Villegas answered with a 6-3 win on Court Three to even the point.
Na Dong and Mu-Jie Tzeng then clinched the doubles point for the Bears with a 7-5 victory on Court Two.
In singles, Alian Zack was first to finish, rolling to a 6-1, 6-2 win on Court Five. Dong extended the lead with a dominant 6-1, 6-1 victory on Court Two, and Tzeng sealed the match for Baylor on Court Four with a 6-1, 6-4 decision.
Three matches went unfinished after the clinch. Kubacha led 6-4, 2-4 on Court One, while Gibbs was tied 4-4 in the second set on Court Three after dropping the first 6-3. Luna Ivkovic was headed to a third set following a 1-6, 6-2 split on Court Six.

Baylor is back home for a pair of matches against UTRGV on Saturday, facing the Vaqueros at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. CT outside at the Hurd Tennis Center courts.
