
WT Dubbed Sixth Seed in Big 12 Tournament and Set to Face TCU in Quarterfinal

ORLANDO, Fla. – As the regular season came to a close Sunday evening, Baylor women's tennis earned the No. 6 seed in the 2026 Big 12 Tournament presented by Allstate, set for the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
The Bears will open play at 1 p.m. CT Thursday against No. 3 seed TCU, with the match streamed on ESPN+. With a win, Baylor would advance to Friday's semifinal at 5 p.m. CT and move one step closer to the championship match scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday.
Thursday's matchup marks the second meeting between the teams this season. TCU won the first contest 4-1 on March 28 during conference play. Zuzanna Kubacha secured the Bears' lone point with a straight-set victory.
Tickets for fans in Orlando are available through the UCF ticket office. First-round matches begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, featuring Texas Tech vs. Houston and BYU vs. Utah.
