Bears return to Arlington to compete alongside Arkansas, Iowa, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Oregon State
ARLINGTON, Texas – Baylor baseball will compete in the 2027 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington, it was announced Tuesday by REV Entertainment in conjunction with the Texas Rangers.
The Bears will take the field alongside Arkansas, Iowa, Oklahoma State, Oregon and Oregon State on Feb. 26-28, 2027, with exact matchups still to be determined. This will be BU's third appearance at the College Baseball Series in Arlington and first trip back to Globe Life Field since the 2025 season.
"We are thrilled to be returning to Globe Life Field for the 2027 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series," said fifth-year head coach Mitch Thompson. "This is always a first-class event with premier competition and an elite environment for our players. It's a great opportunity for our Baylor Family in DFW to come see us early in the season. We are looking forward to testing ourselves against other top teams and competing once again at the home of the Texas Rangers."
This marks the third year Amegy Bank will serve as title sponsor of the premier early-season college baseball tournaments in Arlington, with a portion of proceeds from each tournament weekend benefiting Shriners Children's Hospitals.
Home Plate Reserved tickets go on sale Thursday, June 25, at 9 a.m. CT at CollegeBaseballSeries.com. This premium offering includes access to all three days of the tournament, reserved seating behind home plate, reserved parking, early ballpark entry, concession discounts, commemorative merchandise, unlimited soft drink refills and access to exclusive hospitality areas. Tickets are $156 for adults and $84 for youth (13 and under), before taxes and fees.
Group tickets and suites are available by contacting REV Entertainment at 817-533-1833 or info@reventertainment.com. General admission tickets will go on sale later this year following the announcement of tournament schedules.
Every game of the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series will be streamed on FloCollege.
