SPRING: Went 22-11 in singles and 25-44 in doubles on the 2021-22 season ... Member of the 2022 Big 12 Tournament Champion squad ... Won a slew of postseason honors, including ITA All-America, All-Big 12 First Team Doubles, Big 12 All-Tournament Team in No. 3 Doubles ... Won Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll selections both semesters and was placed on the Academic All-Big 12 First Team ... Opened the 2022 spring season with a 7-5, 6-4, win over Stratton Brown from Creighton in January ... Went on a seven-match winning streak throughout January and February, including a win over No. 73 Cleeve Harper from Texas ... Posted a 1-0 record from court one, 5-0 from court three, 9-7 from court four and 5-2 from five ... Made his way No. 114 in singles rankings in April ... At the ITA Texas Regionals (10/13) he defeated Kyohei Yamanaka of Texas A&M Corpus Christi 6-4, 6-1 in R64, then Giulio Perego of Texas A&M in R32 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (0-4), but fell to TCU’s Luc Fomba 5-7, 5-7 in the R16 ... In doubles play, he and Sven Lah went 6-3 in the fall, 1-2 in the ITA Fall National Championships ... He and Lah were ranked No. 27 in the ITA Preseason Doubles Rankings (9/7) ... At the ITA All-Americans tournament (10/2) he and Lah defeated the No. 18 team of Maldoner/Vidal (ODU) 7-5, 6-1 in R32, then went 6-3, 6-2 against Cernoch and Kiger (UNC) in the R16 to advance to the quarters where they fell to Ohio State’s Cash and Vocel ... At the ITA Texas Regionals (10/13), he and Lah finished in the quarterfinals after defeating a TAMU-CC squad as well as a Texas Tech duo, defeating both at 8-2; they fell 7-8 (3-0) to Schachter and Abbratt (Texas A&M) ... With Lah at the ITA Fall National Championships (11/4), they defeated Alabama and Wake Forest duos to advance to the quarters where they fell to Vocel and Cash ... Ranked the No. 18 doubles pair by the ITA (12/8).
