High School: St. Louis, Mo., native prepped at Riverview Gardens HS... As senior in 2008, earned Class 6 All-State honors from Associated Press and MSSA as all-purpose player... Threw for 2,354 yards on 159-of-282 passing and had 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions... Led Suburban North Conference in passing and was second in rushing as senior, compiling 1,313 yards on 162 carries (8.1 average)... Named first-team all-conference as quarterback.
