2010-11 (JUNIOR)...
Closed out the season with four wins in last five matches, two at No. 5 and two at No. 6 spot ... Produced a 17-12 singles mark, while going 10-6 in dual matches ... 6-6 record at No. 6 and 3-0 at No. 5 ... Finished at 22-1 in doubles, 20-8 when paired with Kike Grangeiro ... The duo played at No. 3, posting a 16-6 mark, including a 3-2 Big 12 mark ... Clinched the match vs. No. 1 Tennessee, providing the Bears[apos] first-ever victory over a top ranked team, Bly and Grangeiro also clinched the doubles point in the match ... Received Big 12 Player of the Week honors after Tennessee match ... The tandem clinched a team-high nine doubles points for the Bears ... Posted a 5-4 fall singles mark in four tournaments ... Kicked off third year at Baylor with three straight wins at the HEB-Baylor Men[apos]s Invitational, but fell in quarterfinals to teammate Roberto Maytin 6-2, 6-2 ... Hampered the rest of the fall with a shoulder injury that caused him to lose three of next five matches ... ... Honored by conference office on the fall and spring semester Big 12 Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll ... Named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team.
2009-10 (SOPHOMORE)...
Sat out the first six matches of the spring season (coach[apos]s decision) ...
Inserted in the lineup against Alabama on Feb. 14 and won his first eight
matches playing mostly at No. 6 ... Finished 18-3 in dual match play,
giving the Bears a spark at the bottom of the lineup ... Was 23-11 on the
year ... Closed out the spring season with seven straight wins ... Went 0-2
against ranked players, but was 5-1 in Big 12 play to give him the Big 12
position championship at No. 6 singles ... Overall was 18-9 in doubles
play with four different partners ... In dual match play was 14-6 while
going 9-5 with partner Attila Bucko ... Ranked with Bucko four different
times No. 38 (Jan. 5), No. 60 (Feb. 18), No. 45 (March 2) and No. 78
(March 30) ... Struggled to find consistency in five fall tournaments going
4-6 in singles action and 3-3 in doubles play ... Ranked No. 113 in the ITA
preseason listings ... Reached the quarterfinals of the Midland Invitational
before dropping a straight set match against Josh Zavala of Texas ...
Named to the Big 12 Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll for the fall and spring
semesters ... Named to the 2010 Academic All-Big 12 team ... One of six
Bears to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
2008-09 (FRESHMAN)...
Finished his intial campaign with a 21-13 record in singles and a 15-10
doubles record ... In a rollercoaster kind of season, recorded a 16-8 dual
match mark and a 4-0 conference record in singles play ... Started spring
4-1, but dropped next four matches then won six of eight ... Sat out three
straight matches before finishing season on a 6-1 streak ... Reached the
rank of No. 121 in the Feb. 19 ITA rankings ... In doubles play went 14-8
in dual match competition while partnered with both Dominik Mueller
(11-5) and Attila Bucko (3-3)... Posted a 5-5 singles record and was 1-2 in
doubles in fall competition ... Lost in the round of 32 at the Baylor
Invitational to Wisconsin[apos]s 72nd-ranked Marik Michalicka ... Lost in the
round of 128 in the ITA All-American qualifying bracket but posted a
consolation victory over UCLA[apos]s Nick Meister ... Went 1-2 at the ITA
Southwest Regionals with a loss in the round of 128 and 1-1 in
consolation rounds ... One of three Bears to compete in Kentucky[apos]s Fluitt
Invitational where he posted a 2-1 mark ... Teamed with Dominik Mueller
once in doubles (0-1) and twice with Jordan Rux (1-1) ... Named to the fall
and spring Big 12 Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll.
