Lindsey Cargill is entering her first season as the volunteer assistant coach at Baylor, joining the softball staff in August 2017.
Cargill was a four-year letterwinner under head coach Glenn Moore from 2014-17, capping off her record-breaking career by helping to lead the Lady Bears to the 2017 Women’s College World Series and earning her spot as Baylor’s ninth All-American.
Over her four seasons, Cargill broke the program’s career hits (253) and single-season batting average records (.430), showing her versatility after transitioning seamlessly from a three-year outfield starter to playing third base in her senior campaign.
She graduated from Baylor in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in business and is currently working on finishing a master's degree from Baylor in sports pedagogy.
