2020 (SENIOR): Started five games on the year … boasted a 3.15 ERA in 20.0 innings pitched, striking out 25 to 13 walks, giving up 10 runs (seven earned) on 16 hits … made his season debut vs. Nebraska (2/15) and tossed 4.1 innings, striking out three and walking two … threw 3.2 innings vs. Oral Roberts (2/21), allowing two unearned runs on two hits with seven walks and seven strikeouts … vs. Missouri in the Shriner’s College Classic, tossed 5.0 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits with three walks and six strikeouts … his best start of the year came at Cal Poly (3/6), tossing a season-high 7.0 shutout innings, scattering four hits and walking one while striking out a season-best nine batters. 

2019 (JUNIOR): Made 16 appearances including team-most 13 starts … Became Baylor’s ace and typical Friday night starter after beginning season in the bullpen … Named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention … Named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week (4/1) … Finished with a 6-2 record with a 4.41 ERA … Led team with 96 strikeouts … Worked 79.2 innings while holding opponents to a .233 batting average … Pitched season-high seven innings vs. Cal Poly (3/15) … Recorded season-best 12 strikeouts at Kansas (3/30) … Notched at least five strikeouts in 12 outings this year … Had his second-longest outing of the season in the NCAA Regional vs. Omaha, throwing 6.2 innings. 

2017-18 (Navarro Junior College): Posted an 8-2 record in 13 starts as a sophomore in 2018 … Recorded a 2.62 ERA with 92 strikeouts in 65.1 innings pitched … Earned Pitcher of the Year award and All-Region honors in 2018 … Made 11 appearances as a freshman in 2017 with one start … Tallied a 2.63 ERA with 45 punchouts in 37.2 innings of work … Named to the All-Conference team in 2017.

HIGH SCHOOL: Dual-sport athlete at in high school … Played outfield and pitcher as well as wide receiver and quarterback … Homeschooled … Two-time member of the WWBA Perfect Game All-Tournament Team.
