Davis Wins Back-to-Back Abu Dhabi Titles
Final Abu Dhabi Junior Golf Championship Results Baylor women's golf freshman Hayley Davis won her second straight Abu Dhabi Junior Golf Championship title Thursday by six strokes over 2012 signee Lauren Taylor. Davis shot 5-under 211, including a course-record 64 during Wednesday's second round. Taylor carded back-to-back rounds of 71 before a final-round 75 led her to a three-round score of 1-over 217. Taylor, who won the 2011 British amateur title, pulled to within one stroke of Davis before the September Big 12 Golfer of the Month pulled away for her second consecutive title in Abu Dhabi. |
