Santa's Workshop
The Bears helped to spread holiday cheer again at Santa's Workshop December 5, 2003. Baylor athletes from the football, volleyball, softball, track, baseball, golf and tennis programs played with and distributed gifts to about 1,000 Headstart preschoolers, ages three to five.
Baylor University sponsors the annual Christmas event, which began with a four-week toy drive throughout the Baylor campus. The toys were collected, wrapped and distributed to children who might not otherwise have a happy Christmas. The children even enjoyed candy goody bags and a visit from Mr. Mrs. Claus.
