ESPN College GameDay show will broadcast from the South Plaza at McLane Stadium, near the Sheila and Walter Umphrey Bridge from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Baylor students and fans may begin filling in available areas for the GameDay broadcast at 5:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Parking & Access
The GameDay broadcast will impact some access points to McLane Stadium. Make note of the important details below:
- McLane Stadium Lots 3 & 4 will be open to the public from 5 a.m. until noon. *Beginning at noon, all non-credentialed vehicles will be towed. Vehicles permitted to remain in the lot after noon, must have a Lot 3 or 4 parking pass clearly displayed.
- Those with reserved parking passes for Lots 1 & 2 may enter at the Lot 1 gate, beginning at 5 a.m. All other lots will open at 8 a.m.
- Shuttles will run from the Ferrell Center to McLane Stadium from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. After 2:30 p.m., they will resume their normal BU game day route.
Pit Policies
Help us show off the best of Baylor as ESPN Broadcasts from McLane Stadium. Review the helpful reminders below:
- By entering the Pit, fans agree to allow ESPN to use captured media such as video or images without compensation.
- No food or drinks are allowed in the Pit.
- No bags are allowed in the Pit. This includes, but is not exclusive to backpacks, book bags or purses.
- No markers, pens, pencils or dry erase boards.
- Signs in the Pit may not be attached to poles, sticks or other extensions, but these are permitted outside the Pit area.
- Signs are subject to approval by ESPN and Baylor University personnel and those attempting to enter the Pit may be denied entry should their sign be deemed inappropriate. The individual must discard the sign at their own risk.
- Fans may bring their own signs.
- No derogatory, vulgar, or political messages are allowed. Signs may be removed at the discretion of ESPN or Baylor University personnel.
- No sponsored signs or any references to .com's or other websites.
- While signs with poles, sticks, or other extensions are permitted behind the GameDay set, those extensions will NOT be allowed into McLane Stadium.
The Bears will host Oklahoma at 6:30 p.m. at McLane Stadium in front of a sold-out crowd.
