Ashley (Garza) Ventura is in her fifth season as the Director of Equestrian Operations, joining the Baylor staff in August 2015.

Ventura, a former western student-athlete at Baylor, was a four-year letterwinner for the Bears from 2009 to 2013.

Ventura’s main duties include handling a portion of the program's business responsibilities, team travel, apparel and equipment. She also coordinates communication with the Paddock Club membership, the Baylor equestrian boosters, and assists the Baylor staff with scheduling coaching clinics throughout the year.

Ventura graduated from Baylor in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in corporate communications. She earned a master's degree in education psychology with an emphasis on gifted and talented in 2018. She married Eric Ventura on Sept. 7, 2019.
