Earned first-team 5A all-state honors from both The Associated Press and Texas Sports Writers Association as a senior ... Tallied 211 tackles in 2003 with nine tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, four pass breakups, four fumbles caused, three fumble recoveries and a safety ... Personal: The son of Chuck and Susan Hixson, Benjamin Charles Hixson was born June 22, 1985, in New Orleans, La. ... Speech communications major received undergraduate degree in December 2007 and is enrolled in Baylor[apos]s sports pedagogy master[apos]s program.
