2024 (Sophomore): Played in eight games with seven starts at STAR … One of Baylor’s best defenders but battled injuries, missing games vs. Utah, Air Force, WVU, Houston and Kansas … Finished with 35 tackles, five for a loss, with one sack, a forced fumble and a pass break-up … According to PFF, had a 61.8 defensive rating, a 75.2 rush defense number, a 57.5 coverage rating … Played 440 snaps according to PFF, was targeted in the pass game 50 times and allowed 34 catches for 314 yards (9.2 yards per catch) and one TD … Had three tackles in the opener vs. Tarleton … Missed the next two games but returned at Colorado while still battling injury to make four tackles with a sack … Had two tackles, and a TFL, vs. BYU, breaking up a pass … Had three stops at ISU … Made seven tackles with 1.5 for a loss at Texas Tech … Made four tackles with a TFL vs. OSU … Had five tackles vs. TCU … Missed the next three games before returning for the bowl game against hometown LSU, going for seven tackles, half a TFL and forced a fumble.
