Prior to a brief stint as a special teams quality control coach at Louisiana, Osborne spent one season as the defensive ends coach at McNeese in 2018. He broke into the coaching ranks at Northwestern State in 2017 as a defensive graduate assistant.
During his first season with Baylor, Osborne helped develop All-Conference inside linebacker Dillon Doyle, while aiding BU to a second-straight bowl appearance, the 2022 Armed Forces Bowl.
Osborne’s 2019-21 seasons with LSU saw him serve as a graduate assistant coach for the defense. After a career as an all-conference tight end, Osborne moved across the line of scrimmage as a defensive line graduate assistant at Northwestern State. He worked directly with Head Coach Jay Thomas working with the Defensive Line.
Osborne played at Louisiana-Monroe from 2012-2016. He earned both his bachelor’s degree in finance and master’s degree in sport management while at ULM. He and his wife, Kacey, have one son, Niles.
