Zack Sheets joined Baylor Athletics in March of 2023 as the Director of Team Development for Football on Dave Aranda's staff.
Previously, Sheets was an administrator at Francis Howell Union High School, an Alternative High School, from 2015-2023. He previously was a PE Teacher there from 2013-15. As an admin, he handled most of the school’s discipline, facilitated staff professional development, and was a resource and thinking partner for teachers and students to solve problems to prepare for success post-high school. He implemented effective student and staff character development programs as well. The daily task was to motivate the unmotivated and try to reach the hard to reach, along with navigate situations when consequences have little to no impact.
Sheets earned his bachelor's in Physical Education at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in 2009. He then earned his Master's in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State in 2015 and his PhD in Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands in 2019.
The Machesney Park, Illinois, native is married to Samantha Sheets, and the couple have four children - Colbie, Harper, and twins Brooklyn and Sawyer.
