2023 (Freshman): After a season-ending injury to the primary long snapper, came off the bench vs. UCF and remained in that role for the final eight games of the year … Made a tackle vs. West Virginia.
High School: Long snapper who prepped at New Waverly High School, playing both ways as a defensive end and tight end, while also playing basketball, baseball, wrestling and track ... Coached by Dean Schaub, his father, leading the team to the Bi-District playoffs ... Earned all-state honors at defensive end, and was a three-time all-district selection at tight end ... Named District defensive lineman of the year ... Had 142 tackles, 30.5 tackles for a loss, with 14 sacks, nine pass break-ups, six forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries ...
