Aaron Fordyce

Aaron Fordyce joined Baylor Athletics in August 2025 as the Associate AD of Marketing and Fan Experience. In this role, he oversees the Marketing and Fan Experience team and serves as the program administrator for the Baylor Spirit Squads.
 
Before arriving at Baylor, Aaron worked in the University of Pittsburgh Athletic Department. He began with Pitt in December 2021 and started as the marketing lead for Pitt Women’s Basketball and Softball. In 2022, he also took on the roles of leading the marketing efforts for men’s soccer, women’s soccer and men’s basketball as well as overseeing the on-field coordination at football, the student internship program, all student marketing efforts and student ticket sales, campus events coordination, and liaison for the Panther Pitt and Oakland Zoo student sections. In July 2023, he was promoted to Director of Marketing and became the lead marketing contact for Pitt Football.
 
Prior to his experience at Pitt, Aaron worked in the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Athletic Department. He started with the Mocs in August 2019 as a Marketing Coordinator and became their Assistant Director of Marketing in July 2021. While he was there, Aaron worked as the primary marketing contact for women’s soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball, wrestling, softball, and beach volleyball. He served as secondary contact for football and men’s basketball. He also oversaw the student internship program and the Kids Club. In fall 2021, he started producing Chattanooga Football games while also playing the in-venue music.
 
Aaron attended the University of Illinois and studied at the Gies College of Business. While he was a student, he worked for the men’s basketball team as a manager for head coaches John Groce and Brad Underwood. In addition to being a manager during his senior year, he also joined the Fighting Illini marketing department as a Marketing Assistant working specifically with Illinois Baseball during their 2019 season. Aaron graduated from the University of Illinois in May 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and received his Master’s in Business Management in October 2021.
 
Aaron is originally from Dunlap, Illinois. He married Sam Fordyce in July 2025. She and Aaron have two dogs: Scout and Ivy.
