Anna Beard serves Baylor Athletics as the Assistant Director of Learning Support within the Student-Athlete Center for Excellence (SACE).
Beard joined the Bears in September 2024 in her current role, having previously served as a Learning Specialist at the University of Illinois.
Her journey in Athletics began at the University of South Carolina, where she was an Academic Coach and then an Assistant Learning Specialist. She started at Illinois in January 2023.
Beard, a Texas native, earned her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Baylor in 2019 before earning her Master of Social Work in 2020 and MBA in 2021. The three-time BU grad holds a license in social work and is an active member of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals [N4A] where she sits on various subcommittees.
