Cade Koster is in his first year in 2025 as a Quality Control Coach for Baylor football.
Koster came to the Bears after serving as a defensive graduate assistant coach at Illinois State in 2024, where he worked as the assistant defensive line coach. He helped lead ISU to a 10-4 record and a No. 12 national seed in the FCS Playoffs, with the ISU defense ranking among the tops in the conference in defensive points per game, third-down defense, sacks and takeaways.
He previously worked in 2023 as a defensive analyst and assistant defensive line coach at ULM in 2023.
He got his start in coaching as a student assistant coach at Kansas State from 2019-22, where he earned his bachelor's degree in 2022. The Wildcats won the Big 12 Conference in 2022 and the Texas Bowl in 2021.
