Cole Durham

Cole Durham serves the Baylor Athletics Department as the Associate Director of Athletics Performance, promoted in August of 2023, working with Baylor’s Men’s and Women’s Tennis and assists with Baseball.

Durham joined the Baylor University Athletics Performance staff in the Fall of 2021as an Assistant Director of Athletics Performance.

Durham comes to Baylor from Goodyear, Arizona where he served as a Minor League Strength and Conditioning coach with the Cincinnati Reds. Prior to the Reds, Durham worked as a Minor League Strength and Conditioning coach with the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2013 through 2016. During his time in professional baseball, Durham helped create a foundation for players’ development in rookie leagues, oversaw return to play programs for minor league rehab and had the pleasure to watch players get called to the Major Leagues in Triple A.

Durham graduated from Texas Tech University in 2006 where he earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science. He earned a Master of Education degree in Physical Education from Texas State University. Durham holds a certification through the NSCA (CSCS, RSCC).

The Lockhart, Texas native resides in Waco with his wife, Hannah.
