Haylee Ottman is in her first year as an Assistant Learning Specialist in the Baylor Student-Athlete Center for Excellence.
Ottman serves Baylor student-athletes who may need additional assistance in order to succeed in the classroom. Ottman works with a variety of sports that can change depending on department needs.
Ottman joins Baylor Athletics after serving as the Student-Athlete Academic Mentor at Florida State University (2023-25). Ottman also was the mental performance consultant with the Seminoles. Ottman earned her B.A. in psychology from The Ohio State University in 2022, a B.A. in psychology and her M.S in education with a concentration in sport psychology from Florida State in 2025.
Ottman is originally from Groveport, Ohio. She also enjoys spending time with her six-year-old chocolate lab, Moose.
