Jacob Villanueva serves Baylor Athletics as the Associate Director of Rehabilitation Services, working with the Health & Wellness team.
Villanueva joined the staff in March of 2024 in this role. He provides Physical Therapy services and ensures rehabilitation and return-to-play of football student athletes.
Previously, Villanueva did his residency with NovaCare Rehabilitation at the University of Cincinnati from 2023-2024. There, he provided Physical Therapy services for the Cincinnati Football team as well as assisted with other Olympic sports.
The Austin, Texas, native graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020 with his bachelor's in Kinesiology and Health. He went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2023.
