Jay Crain serves Baylor Athletics as the Senior Director of Football Visual Media.

He joined the Baylor Athletics staff in July of 2021 as the Director of Football Visual Media, and was promoted in November 2024 to Senior Director.

In his role, he is responsible for the video, photo, graphics and social for Baylor football.

Prior to Baylor, he was the Director of Creative Services at Appalachian State from September of 2019 to June of 2021, where he oversaw brand direction and identity as a photographer, videographer and graphic designer for App State Athletics.

Before App State, he was an associate videographer at Western Michigan from 2018-19. Previously, he was a photographer for the Lubbock Avalanche Journal in Lubbock, Texas, covering sports and events across west Texas as a freelancer.

The DeKalb, Texas, native graduated from Texas Tech in 2015 with his bachelor's in electronic media & communications. He earned his master's in mass communications in May 2018.
