John Denton serves as Senior Account Executive for Baylor Sports Properties, where he focuses on corporate partnerships and revenue-generating sponsorship opportunities that connect brands with Baylor Athletics.
Denton joined Baylor in May 2026 after building a diverse career in collegiate athletics, professional sports and name, image and likeness (NIL) partnerships. Prior to joining the Bears, he served as Director of Partnerships for One Pack NIL, NC State's NIL collective, where he helped develop strategic partnerships and business opportunities that supported student-athletes.
Before his time with One Pack NIL, Denton served as Corporate Development Executive with the Charlotte Knights in 2024 and as Manager of Partnership Development for the Philadelphia Flyers during the 2023–24 season. He also worked as Manager of Business Development at Florida Atlantic University in 2022 and spent four years as Head of Partnerships for FlexWork Sports Management from 2017–21. Denton began his career as an intern with the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2016.
Throughout his career, Denton has specialized in corporate sponsorship sales, partnership activation, business development and relationship management, helping organizations create meaningful connections between brands and fans.
Denton earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from NC State University and a Master of Science in Sport Administration from Ohio University.
Denton is a native of High Point, North Carolina.
