Laken Green is in her first year as the Assistant to the Head Coach for Baylor Football. She was announced in her role on Jan. 30, 2026.
Green spent the 2025 season in a part-time role as the student assistant to the head coach, working directly with Coach Dave Aranda, Chief of Staff Jeff Grigus and Director of Operations Landrie Walsh on all management of program.
She serves as the liaison for coaches’ spouses and player parents, leads the planning of the annual coaches’ wives’ trip and assists in the day-to-day management of all aspects of the program.
Green previously served as a graduate assistant with the American Football Coaches Association from 2024-26, including key execution of the annual AFCA Convention, coordination and production of the AFCA podcast, among the day-to-day operational duties in the association offices.
As an undergraduate student assistant in recruiting and operations, Green ascended to lead student assistant, working with the program from 2021-25. She helped provide leadership of 15 student workers and participated in travel duties for the 2022 Armed Forces and 2024 Texas Bowl.
Green graduated from Baylor with a bachelor’s degree in Health, Kinesiology, and Leisure Studies in 2024 and earned her master’s degree in Sport Management in 2025.
