Lauren King is in her first year as an Assistant Academic Coach.
King joins Baylor Athletics after serving as a graduate student for Alcohol and Other Drug Services at GVSU (2023-25) where she supervised and trained peer educators, created and facilitated programming, and facilitated education workshops. King also served as a Student Academic Success Scholar Facilitator at GVSU in 2025.
King earned her bachelor’s degree in justice studies from the University of Mount Olive in 2023. She then completed her MED in Higher Education at Grand Valley State University in 2025.
King is a former student- athlete (2018-23). She is originally from Clear Brook, Virginia.
